There is so much to see and experience at the Discovery Science Place. We have a variety of programs, exhibits, and events that are sure to entertain the whole family. Before you leave, be sure to stop into our Discovery Store featuring hundreds of unique toys and gifts (perfect for that upcoming birthday – that we can host!)
We strive to make each trip to our museum memorable, fun and engaging for the whole family. The Discovery Science Place is fully accessible to our guests in wheelchairs or who have other physical handicaps. Because of the hands-on nature of the exhibits, the museum is a wonderful place for people of all abilities to experience and learn more about our world. Online tickets can be purchased at the link below.
Please note that tickets purchased online are only good for the day/time-slot reserved, and cannot be refunded. If you are unsure of your visit date/time we encourage you to buy your tickets at the door.
Tickets via our “Museums for All” program cannot be purchased online and must be purchased at the door.
Groupon discounts are not available online and must be utilized at the door.

- Tuesday-Friday: 10am-5pm
- Saturday: 10am-5pm

Admission
- $10.00 for adults (Ages: 13 and up)
- $8.00 for children (Ages: 2 – 12)
- $8.00 per person for senior (65 and up)
- $7.00 per person for active military (Must Provide ID)
- Children under 2 are free
- Members: FREE! Learn more about membership
Please Note: Visitors younger than 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
Adults unaccompanied by children will not be allowed museum access unless a tour or meeting is prearranged with senior staff.

Guidelines
The Discovery Science Place asks that guests follow museum rules for the benefit and enjoyment of all. If any guest is found to be disruptive, dismissive, or disobedient to museum rules, that guest may be asked to leave with no refund.
DSP Overflow Parking
If our lots are full, please park in the Tyler Chamber of Commerce parking lot located at Broadway & Line Street. Additional overflow parking on weekends only located across Locust St and off Spring St (Smith Co. juror parking lot).
