For more than thirty years, Discovery Science Place has been where East Texas children come to wonder, explore, build, imagine, and discover. Teachers trust it. Generations of families know it. More than 72,500 people walk through the doors each year — including about 10,000 students on field trips from 80+ schools across 23 counties.

Children today grow up in a world full of screens. They need a place where they do more than watch. They need to touch, build, experiment, pretend, solve problems, work together, and sometimes knock something down and start over. That is what happens here. At Discovery Science Place, children do not simply watch science. They do science. Play becomes learning. Curiosity becomes discovery. An ordinary afternoon can be the start of a lifelong interest in how the world works.

Tyler is already investing in that future — new school facilities, the CTC, an expanding TJC campus, the medical school at UT Tyler. Discovery Science Place belongs in that story. A STEM Sponsor puts a company’s name and resources behind the hands-on work those students walk into: exhibits, programs, and field trips that make science something they try, not something they only hear about.

Your name and logo are in front of that audience all year — at all five events, in print, on the website, on social media, and on Discovery Circle / kiosk displays inside the museum.

What you’re supporting:

– Night at the Museum — Signature fundraising event

– Founders Day — 1400+ people come for free to enjoy our museum and STEM friends

– Educators Open House — Free for up to 150 local teachers to fellowship, food, professional development hours and experience DSP

– Halloween Spooktacular

– Holiday at Discovery

– Saturday Science Lab

What you receive:

– In-museum recognition  on Kiosks and Discovery Circle

– Family night (only 7 available) for your company, or 4 signature-event tickets

– A simple year-end note on student and visitor reach

– Name and Logo at all five events

Museums for All Sponsor

$2,000

For more than thirty years, Discovery Science Place has been where East Texas children come to wonder, explore, build, imagine, and discover. More than 72,500 people walk through the doors each year. Not every family can pay full admission.
Museums for All is how we keep that door open. A sponsor at this level helps cover reduced admission for families facing financial barriers, and helps send kids to summer camps they would otherwise miss. The museum has already served 4,500+ low-income families through Museums for All. Your gift goes straight at that gap: a visit, a camp week, a chance to be in the building with everyone else.
Children today grow up in a world full of screens. They need a place where they do more than watch — where they touch, build, experiment, and work together. That should not depend on what a family can pay at the door. At Discovery Science Place, every child should be able to do science, not just watch it.
What you receive:
  • Recognition as a Museums for All Sponsor on the website, Discovery Circle and in select social posts
  • 10 Guest passes
