Come walk among the dinosaurs again as we celebrate the Discovery Science Place 25th anniversary! Take your picture riding a Triceratops or braving the jaws of a T-Rex. See two Protoceratops guarding their nest or view the long-necked Apatosaurus. View actual fossils along with animatronic models of the “terrible lizards” of long ago.

“Return of the Dinosaurs” is featured in our DSP Annex building next door to the main museum building. This exhibit is perfect for ages 4-10, but can be enjoyed by the entire family… It’s a smaller dino exhibit at a smaller price! Tickets are purchased at the main museum front desk (under the green awning) and the entire exhibit is located in the Discovery Annex building. See photos here: DSP Facebook Photo Gallery

“Return of the Dinosaurs” is a separately ticketed exhibit. Ticket prices are:
$8.00 for adults (Ages: 13 and up)
$6.00 for children (Ages: 2 – 12)
Current DSP members get in for 1/2 price! ($4 and $3)
Children under 2 are free

FAQ:
What is the size of the exhibit? This exhibit is approximately 2,500 sq feet in size and consists of 8+ animatronic dinosaurs of varying sizes, two dino photos opps, multiple hands-on activities, and about 4 actual fossils on loan from the Naranjo Natural History Museum.

What age is the exhibit designed for? While the exhibit is great for all ages it is most appealing to children ages 4-10.

Why is there an extra charge? Traveling exhibits (even smaller ones) are extremely expensive. Many museums (including the DSP) never recoup the costs involved. We seek exhibit sponsorships to offset the costs, but still do our best to keep prices low (especially for our museum members).

What if we want to see a larger, more expansive dino exhibit? We recommend a trip to the Perot Museum in Dallas. They have a great dino exhibit this summer, but be prepared- nonmember adult prices are $30/person. That cost can be decreased substantially if you are a DSP premium museum member as our reciprocal ASTC membership allows for free or reduced entry to hundreds of museums world-wide!
