Our mission at the Discovery Science Place is to ignite curiosity in young minds through fun, hands-on exploration. As a non-profit, community-focused organization, we never want admission costs to be a barrier to our guests. We are proud to be a part of the national “Museums for All” initiative and encourage our guests to utilize this program if it meets their needs.
Our “Museums for All” program allows for a reduced admission rate of only $3/person (child or adult) for qualifying families. Children under 2 years of age are always free. Families receiving WIC benefits and/or state EBT card benefits (The Lonestar Card or other state EBT cards) ar eligible for MforA admission.
— Present your EBT card along with photo ID that matches at the register and ask for the Museums for All admission rate. This rate will apply to all in your group- adults or children, and is good for normal admission to the main museum on any regular business day.
— The DSP will also accept evidence of WIC services (your monthly receipt or other paperwork) as eligibility for MforA.
Please not that your EBT card cannot be used to pay for admission. It is simply used for identification. MforA pricing can not be used for traveling exhibits or special events (such as Maker Faire).
