WELCOME to The Discovery Science Place...

...a hands-on science museum for kids of all ages. The Discovery Science Place is located at 308 N. Broadway Avenue in Tyler, Texas.

Admission:

• $6.00 per person
• Children 2 and under at no charge
• Seniors and Military receive a 10% discount.

Hours:

• Monday through Saturday 9am - 5pm
• Sunday 1pm - 5pm
• Closed for all major holidays
• Museum closes at 2pm the day prior to all major holidays

The Discovery Science Place is an affiliate of the American Science Technology Centers (ASTC) and the Association of Children's Museums (ACM). Discovery Science Place members receive added benefits when visiting other museums affiliated with these organizations. Memberships to the Discovery Science Place are available to fit every family size and budget.

The Discovery Science Place offers three exhibit halls where kids of all ages are free to move about and explore. The museum is currently offering three exhibits, Discovery Landing and Hometown, USA (our permanent exhibits) and Color: The Science & Art of Seeing Light, a visual perception exhibit that takes a look at how we see (or don't see) color.
