EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES
Discovery Science Place is seeking an EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR to lead the museum to new heights. The children’s museum/science center is experiencing a time of exciting growth and now looks for a new leader to take the museum to the next level. A COMPLETE JOB DESCRIPTON CAN BE FOUND HERE. Discovery Science Place is currently looking to expand our GUEST SERVICES team by adding part-time personnel. We offer a flexible work schedule with daytime hours available seven days a week. VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
The Explore Corps, the volunteer team at the Discovery
Science Place, wants you. The Discovery Science Place is a hands-on
children's science museum that offers educational and entertaining
exhibits and programs designed for the young and the young at heart.
If you are looking for a meaningful and unique opportunity to serve children
and your community, you can join the Explore Corps.
We are in need of volunteers with a wide variety of skills:
- Carpentry
- Painting
- Desktop publishing and graphic arts
- Clerical
- School group chaperones
- Floor monitors
Special talents and skills, such as bilingual or multilingual, magicians,
comedians or musicians, please let us know.
The museum is open every day. Shifts are available for weekdays and weekends.
