The
Discovery Science Place offers three exhibit halls where kids of
all ages are free to move about, touch and explore. The museum is
currently offering the following exhibits:
Discovery Landing - Permanent
Exhibit Hall
Discovery Landing features mountain and ship areas as
well as a wide variety of ever-changing, hands-on activities for
the entire family including:
- CBS19 KIDS TV
- The Raceways Room
- The Magic School Bus
- The Busy Honey Bee Hive
- Hands-on activity tables, including thumbprint pictures, mighty
magnets and mind-engaging puzzles and games.

Joyce Buford Exhibit Hall - HomeTown,
USA
Back by popular demand, HomeTown, USA rolls out the welcome mat
to our young community members. HomeTown, USA is a child-size community
that spotlights many of the key businesses and services found in
communities all across the region. This exciting exhibit features
activities to spur the imagination and encourage free play while
addressing educational concepts for early elementary school students.
Young visitors can role-play, explore career options and learn
about the cooperative relationships that build a successful community.
